                                                                               BOOKING TERMS

All bookings are taken on the understanding that the customer has read and accepted all terms and conditions stated.

Sweetbitz will not accept any responsibility for the hirer not thoroughly reading and understanding all terms and conditions.


After receiving your quote, a 25% booking fee is then required to secure the booking. This is non-refundable and non-transferable.

Sweetbitz  will continue to take enquires for all dates until the booking fee deposit is received. This is  non-refundable.

Payment of the booking fee is the hirers acceptance and understanding of all terms.

The booking invoice is a binding contract between Sweetbitz and the hirer, and does not require a signature to confirm this. The transfer of monies, acts as the hirers signature and acceptance. Non signature is not sufficient to cancel this agreement.

Any questions regarding any of the terms, must be reported to Sweetbitz within 14 days of the booking date.

Everything remains the sole property of Sweetbitz at all times.

All items are for HIRE only unless otherwise stated.

Any changes to the invoice after booking can only be made with the discretion of Sweetbitz, subject to availability.

The hirer is solely responsible for all hired goods for the duration of the hire period and is fully responsible for any injury, death or damage to any persons or property.

Sweetbitz cannot be held responsible for any injuries or death that occur during the duration of the hire period.


A 25% booking fee is required to secure the booking. This is non-refundable and non-transferable.

The remaining balance is due 4 weeks prior to the event. Failure to pay the final instalment on time will result in the booking being cancelled.

All payments to be made via bank transfer or card link, Paypal is only accepted at the discretion of Sweetbitz.

Charges will be applied to any property hired that is damaged or lost. Full list of charges are available on request.

The booking is only secured after the 25% booking fee has been received.


In the event of the a cancellation, all monies paid will be lost and remain the property of Sweetbitz, regardless of how early the booking is cancelled. Sweetbitz will not incur any liability due to the contract not being fulfilled due to force majeure - such as extreme weather, flood, fire or any other acts of god. Every effort will be made in order to fulfil the contract.

                                                                                                 HIRE ITEMS

Everything stated on the booking invoice will be provided at the event. It is the hirers responsibility to check this, and Sweetbitz will not be held responsible if something is missing from the invoice without the hirer informing us. Sweetbitz cannot be held responsible if items don’t match other hire items form external suppliers, or the overall look is not what the hirer had envisaged.

Sweetbitz shall be granted full artistic licence during styling, set up and installation on the day. Sweetbitz will make every decision in the best interest of the hirer. This may include altering colours, positioning, props and styling themes slightly in order to achieve a greater desired effect.

Sweetbitz will not be held responsible for any loss, injury or death as a result of open flame. Sweetbitz will not be responsible for any damages or injuries to the hirer if they decide to move hired items or electrical products.The hirer should ensure that candles are permitted and should take every precaution that these are used and maintained safely after Sweetbitz have left the venue.

Chair Covers , sashes and  linen are washed in non biological detergent and Sweetbitz will not be held responsible for any allergic reactions due to this. All linens are ironed, however slight creasing may occur through transportation. This is not a matter for complaint.

Colours may vary from that of the picture, due to availability, lighting, camera etc. Colours will be sourced as close to the colour pictured as possible.

Sweetbitz may use photography taken during the hire period, and is eligible to do so. We will not share any images before the event has taken place.


The hirer accepts full responsibility of accepting and understanding ingredients/age guidelines of sweets  and informing their guests of this information. Full ingredients of all sweets and cakes are available on request.

Sweetbitz  cannot be held responsible for any injuries or death caused from the consumption of any sweets or cake provided.

All sweets and cake ingredients have been made in a factory also manufacturing nut products.

Sweetbitz cannot be held responsible for any allergies, injuries or death resulting from nuts or other products.

Sweet variations may vary due to availability.

Vegetarian Sweet choices are available on request.

Once a cake has been constructed / setup  at the venue Sweetbitz will not longer be responsible for any damage to the cake. 

The Hirer is fully responsible for ensuring that children are supervised at all times during the hire period. Sweetbitz will not be responsible for such injuries or death.

Sweetbitz cannot be held responsible for any safety issues regarding consumption of sweets / cake or the use of any equipment used.

All Jars  are cleaned and sterilised and sweets are filled and prepped in our kitchen.
